Define market and intended age first
A plush sold in different regions may require different mechanical, chemical, flammability or labeling reviews. Plastic or metal components and the intended user can also change the scope.
EU and US frameworks
EU projects may involve EN 71-1, EN 71-2, EN 71-3 and REACH SVHC. US projects may involve ASTM F963, CPSIA lead and phthalate requirements, and a CPC where applicable.
China, Japan and South Korea
China commonly uses the GB 6675 framework, Japan the ST standard and South Korea KC requirements. The laboratory and customer should confirm current applicable clauses rather than treating a standard name as a universal certificate.
Process checks and laboratory tests serve different roles
Seam, attachment, metal detection, colourfastness and appearance checks control production. Regulatory laboratory work verifies the agreed market-specific scope. One does not replace the other.
Leqiqu's role
After the customer confirms the target market and explicit requirements, Leqiqu can arrange applicable testing and support sending the product or sample to a qualified third-party laboratory. This is testing coordination, not a claim of universal certification.
Market, framework and test focus
A longer list is not automatically better; applicability matters. Mechanical work covers small parts and structural hazards, flammability covers material behaviour, and chemical work may address element migration, lead, phthalates or SVHCs.
Provide sales countries, intended age, use, material and component lists to a qualified laboratory. Multi-market design can align stricter material and construction boundaries, while reports still follow the actual scope.

Build testing into the project plan
Testing affects material, attachment, specimen count, labels and timing. Introducing a new destination after bulk completion can require replacement material or new specimens.
Factory process checks and laboratory work are different. ≥70 N may be used as a common attachment-force reference and appearance sampling may use agreed AQL 2.5/4.0 with zero critical defects, subject to the applicable standard.
