Embroidery emphasizes lines and texture

Embroidery can give outlines, expressions and small graphics a raised line quality. But line weight, stitch density and fabric thickness affect detail. On a small face, too much or too-heavy embroidery can crowd the expression.

Printing can retain complex flat information

Gradients, tiny color blocks, texture and complex flat graphics may call for a printing method to be evaluated. Color, edges and interaction with pile should still be viewed on a sample, not only in the original artwork.

Start with the placement

Face, belly, ear, clothing and accessory areas can have different fabrics and curves. A technique that looks clear on a flat panel may not read the same on a curved, long-pile or stuffed area.

Small sizes need prioritization

Eyelashes, highlights, fine lines and multi-layer colors from artwork may not all remain legible when reduced. Decide which visual signals define the character, then make size-appropriate trade-offs instead of preserving every pixel.

What to review on a sample

  • Whether the graphic reads from front, side and a normal viewing distance.
  • Whether technique edges work with fabric texture and curvature.
  • Whether the character-defining features remain clear on the sample.

Turn the decision into verifiable inputs

Align artwork version, finished size, estimated quantity, intended use and sales market before discussing fabric, decoration, attachments and packing. Without those inputs, price, time and fidelity do not describe one executable project.

For 10–20 cm work, pattern volume, facial spacing, pile and stuffed curvature interact. Leqiqu keeps 18+ fabric types in regular stock, while the physical swatch, approved sample and destination requirements govern the final choice.

Reduce information loss from sample to production

Sampling converts flat assumptions into a physical object. Review silhouette, proportion and expression first, then material, colour, stitching, components and packing. Revision notes should identify location, symptom and target.

After approval, align production fabric, key dimensions, methods and inspection points. Leqiqu can arrange applicable market-specific testing and third-party laboratory submission after requirements are confirmed; this is not a universal certification claim.

Client artwork, quotations and order information remain confidential. Public guidance uses general production reasoning and confirmed public Leqiqu parameters rather than unauthorized cases.
